A pretty strange understanding of 'respect'

Two locals are on their way to prison, forever, because someone didn't want to lose something that's not even tangible, respect. Kyron D. Benson, 20, of Ypsilanti Township shot Stephanie McClure five times, killing her, because he didn't want to lose 'respect' in the neighborhood over a stolen laptop, an old video game console and a pair of shoes which weren't even his. McClure stole the items from her old roomate, Paula Rena Bennett, who is now also on her way to prison forever.

Respect, Benson didn't want to lose respect over things that weren't even his. First off this assumes Benson HAD any respect in said neighborhood. Secondly, what kind of warped mindset does someone employ who thinks somebody needs to die for taking electronics? We will NOT excuse a mindset such as this. Never. This is in no way justified or excusable, no matter what was taken.

See what kind of respect you get in prison Kyron, our guess is you're about to be passed around like an old video game console.

And for what?
