Not the Michigan Wolverines, no, the Treetown Spitfire. Now, admit you've never heard of them. They're 2-3 and coming off a BIG 12-0 victory. And they are women.
Yes, you read that correctly, the Treetown Spitfire is Ann Arbor's women's football team (in the National Women's Football Association) and they have a HOME GAME coming up June 7, vs Minnesota (probably not the Vikings). Home games are played at Ann Arbor Pioneer's Holloway Field.
The Spitfire are led by Maria Cieslikowski, Holly Horodeczny, and Sarah Sharpe.
