Late night open thread

Memorial Day Eve edition. And since it is, we're going to honor their service with a great movie clip cause trust us, you don't want to see the real clips of war on YouTube. This here is war with Oscar winners, all cool and stuff. Here's a cornerstone of battle scenes on film from Apocalypse Now. Language, death, blood, it's all here, be ye warned.

Oh you bet, the 4th of July is for BBQ's and parties and revelry. Not saying I'm not gonna BBQ today, I am but I also understand what today is about. Johnny's dad was a Korea Vet and for as much as we comment on national politics I think it's a god damned disgrace that the current GI Bill going through Congress isn't unanimous with White House support.

you are right. Its a total disgrace for our vets to NOT get the benefits that the GI bill would guarantee.
Every American owes what we have to all of our service people.
