So, did you see Drew Barrymore here in Ypsilanti?

Apparently, some citizens saw Ms. Barrymore scouting locations for a new roller derby movie she may be looking to film here. Do you have a Drew Barrymore story to share? Want to invent one?

While she was here she attended an AA meeting in the basement of a downtown church.

I know because she told me just left as I was sitting next to her in Powell's. I bought her a beer - it surprised me, she seemed like a Grey Goose kind of gal, but she actually asked for a Miller draft.

I told her I loved her work in ET, but she actually owed me a drink just because I sat through Charlie's Angels. She just laughed.

I just heard about it and I'm a film maker. I was curious why she doesn't want to shot in Downtown Detroit? I'm gathering people together for my 3rd feature film.
