Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with PATSY CLINE!

Ah yes, the sweetest voice of all time. That is a pretty good debate to have, who is in Patsy's class as the creme de la creme of voices. k.d. Lang, Leeann Rimes, Annie Lennox and whomever you wanna tell us about. Here at the YCD offices we tossed around Aretha Franklin, Neko Case (and Kelly Hogan), Pat Benatar, Ann Wilson but for whatever reason they just didn't fit that Patsy mold. Here's Patsy Cline with the delicious 'Walkin' After Midnight'

These artists have very distinctive styles of their own: Patty Griffin, Natalie Maines, Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin, Kasey Chambers, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Gwen Stefani, Shirley Manson from Garbage, Sheryl Crow. But in terms of raw vocal talent, no one can touch Patsy.

It's rarified air on that level of pure voice to be certain. The discussion starts with Virginia Patterson Hensley.
