Melvin Dobbins Jr, 28, was shot to death in his Ford Mustang as he tried to back out of a driveway, and away from assailants last night in the 400 block of East Ainsworth about 11:15. Relatives suggested he was there for some kind of drug transaction and Ypsilanti Police Chief Matt Harshberger said "It appears there was a robbery".
Come on folks, two men were seen running from the scene, hopefully somebody knows SOMETHING. Let's be heroes and rat these assholes out. If you live in that neighborhood you'd do well to practice addition by subtraction if you get our drift. 734-483-5849 if you have info and there is also a reward number, 800-773-2587, through the State of Michigan.
You bet you can leave confidential tips here and we'll pass them along, just like we did before. If we're gonna clean up the city it starts with YOU making a call or sending an email.

IT SEEMS THAT THE POLICE HAVE GIVING UP. YET THEY KNOW WHO DID IT. BUT SEEK SOMEONE TO COME FORWARD AND TELL THEM SOMETHING THEY ALREADY KNOW. NOW IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ONE OF THERE MEN THAT YOU DONT WANT TO MENTION IM SURE THE POLICE WILL BE COMING DOWN PRETTY FAST ON WHO THEY THINK DID IT. SO WHY NOT COME DOWN HARD ON THEM AS WELL? ITS ONLY FAR.
