Another big time star to perform FREE at Borders, this time it's Jewel!
That's right, you needn't be from Alaska or have the abilty to yodel to enjoy the song stylings of Jewel, you can head over to Borders, THIS THURSDAY, at 4 pm at Borders downtown store, 612 E. Liberty. It's totally FREE but the good folks at Borders say get there early as space to see Jewel will fill up fast.

I was never a fan of her music, but as far as her personality I think she is pretty cool. Sort of the 2000's version of a hippie-chick.
I bet those that go will have a nice time.
I'll bet you're right. She does seem genuine and nice. Good to see she'll still put on a free show for fans once in a while too. I know she's promoting her new sound, a country album but she could have simply sold tickets to like the Ark or something.
Free is good in this case.
