Your free speech here vs free speech on the Detroit Free Press site

Johnny was just over at the Detroit Free Press website (for most likely the LAST time---poorly formed javascript among other things we're about to discuss) and would love to compare and contrast free speech and freedom to comment. You are ALWAYS free to say what you want here. We may not like it, readers may not like it but you're free to speak your mind. The Free Press website is allowing commentary on EVERY story BUT the Debbie Stabenow/husband/hooker story. Why? Seriously? What kind of censorship in commentary is that? Who does Debbie have naked pictures of on the Free Press Editorial Board?

This is simply POOR FORM in today's digital age. Shame on the Detroit Free Press. Besides, like a columnist said, we just want to talk about Debbie and how she NOW knows, thanks to her husband, what it feels like to the rest of us when she voted the way she did on the bankruptcy bill and telecom immunity.

Well put Johnny. I agree. We always appreciate the freedom you give us to vent
