Predictions made in the 1950's about life in the year 2000:
*The cans that food comes in will be edible too
*With a flip of a switch your car will automatically follow a route on an electronic highway
*Unmanned satellites will allow forecasters to control the weather
*We will watch television on a flat screen that hangs on the wall
*Stoves will have controls that prevent food from burning
Flat TeeVees on the wall, preposterous

I thought we were going to all be wearing white robes and clear plastic sandals by now, and geting around on conveyor belts while munching our Universal Food Wafers.
I know, and flying in Jetson space mobiles and having robot housekeepers.
STUPID future!
