I know Keith the Riff Master always worshipped Chuck Berry. But after working with him on that project, I think Keith would just assume the crazy man go off and die somewhere.

Yeah Chuck was and could be and still is a jackass at times and Keith really did him quite the favor holding his feet to the fire and making Chuck work AND tune his guitar.

And let's not forget a shout out to the incomparable Joey Spampinato -- or NRBQ non-fame -- on the bass. Not only is Joey my all-time fave bass player, he's also a great songwriter, terrific singer and part of the brain trust responsible for nearly 40 years of NRBQ musical magic. (And he was Keef's choice as Bill Wyman's replacement in the Stones, only to be overruled by Mick.)
