OK, who planted the mary jane in the Botanical Gardens?

Monday, employees at U-M's Matthaei Botanical Gardens, found 11 marijuana plants growing among other projects for a student biology class.

Kids, these people LIVE to identify plants. They KNOW weed when they see it. Hell, most people know weed when they see it. Now you're gonna bring down the man on everyone in the biology class.

Linda Green, a spokeswoman for U-M's Division of Student Affairs, said officials have no reason to suspect students were involved. Yes, perhaps a group of senior citizens touring the Botanical Gardens planted them in hopes they could come back with scissors and collect the sticky icky later this summer.

Kids, if you're gonna grow such things, do like smart hippies do, plant them way away from professional botanists and law enforcement officials.

Wasn't me. Dude. And I cut my hair and threw away the checkered Vans when I went to law school.
