EMU dumps Southeast Missouri State 86-82, thus busting their brackets

That's right college hoops fans, Eastern Michigan topped Southeast Missouri State's Redbirds at the ACC this afternoon 86-82. As the Redbirds slowly trek home to Cape Girardeau Missouri, no doubt the sounds of yet another Jarred Axon jumper raining through the nets will haunt them. Axon led EMU with 27, while Carlos Medlock dropped in a strong 20. EMU is now 11-15 overall and since this is not a conference game there's no change in the 6-7 MAC record.

EMU is home again next Saturday, March 1st, at 2pm vs The Cardinals of Ball State.

EMU has won 4 of 6 and the final three games of the season are all against teams behind Eastern in the standings.
