Updates on the Lindsay Anne Graygo murder

Washtenaw County Sheriff Dan Minzey updated the media on the case this evening. He said Ms Graygo was beaten before she was strangled. There were also signs of sexual assault. Minzey said the autopsy showed "tremendous trauma to the body" Her apartment did not show signs of a struggle, however. Police also collected several items that could have been used to strangle her but did not say if any of the items was actually used. There was also some water found in the tub.

In a press release Sheriff's Cmdr. Dave Egeler said that Graygo may have known he killer as there were no signs of a break in and the apartment was then locked when they left. [We at YCD would hope if the keys were taken and used to lock up upon leaving all the locks in that building would have been changed for resident safety, something EMU could learn from] Neighbors did not report hearing anything unusual and police did not notice anything missing.

Simply heinous.
