Dog fighting in Washtenaw County? Kick their asses prosecutors!

There's an old line online trolls use to raise hackles that starts; "I speak on behalf of everyone when I say _________"

Johnny is pretty secure in saying he speaks on behalf of the citizens of Washtenaw County when he says those arrested for dogfighting here need to face the most severe punishment allowed. It's always disgraceful to prey on those weaker than you but to prey on a species weaker than you is a special kind of wrong.

A home (where exactly is being kept under wraps right now) in Ypsilanti was raided by Humane Society employees and ten pit bulls, used in dogfights were taken from the home and sadly later had to be put down.

Charges are being sought as Humane Society cruelty investigator Matt Schaecher told the Ann Arbor News:

"We plan to press for prosecution to the fullest extent possible." Good Matt, we'll be right here supporting you.

When I used to live in Ypsi Township I used to see brothas walking their pit bulls on a regular basis and suspected fighting was going on but hoped and prayed I was wrong and it was just for show. Dogs are for loving and doting, not fighting. A pox on their rotting souls.

It's disgraceful.

In the NFL you can sell and use drugs, you can beat your wife, you can flee from the police, run OVER the police (Randy Moss) and commit almost any kind of vice imaginable and STILL play on Sunday in the NFL.

Know what you can't do in the NFL? Dogfight.

It's got that big of a shame behind it.
