According to reports, Dwight Darnell Bryant was shot and killed in the doorway to his abode because of an argument at the swimming pool at Hidden Cove Apartments the day before. Not that it matters, because dead is dead, but Mr Bryant most likely wasn't AT the pool argument and was a victim of opening his door. That's all, he opened his door.
The people involved in this should be ashamed, their families should be ashamed and as a community we should be ashamed that this passes for "respect" or "not getting dissed" or that it happened at all.
Police have suspects they have interviewed, we'll see if they fit the bill for this stupidity.

Why should the city feel ashamed. You should feel ashamed for commenting on something that you don't know nothing about. The shooter was very wrong. You would've fought too if knew the real story. You probably wouldn't have went to get a gun, but if somebody called your girl a bitch and smacked her right in front of you, you would've at least tried to kick their ass if you got a pair. He should'nt have went to get his gun. Then again he shouldn't of smacked a female either. It was more than an argument. It was completely senseless, but don't blame everybody. This kind of stuff happens all the time, sometimes, in suburban areas too, not just big cities. The only place where stuff like this don't happen is heaven. There is no safe place on earth where murders, slanders, violance, rape and everything else f'ed up doesn't happen. It happens with white people, black people, asian people, and hispanic people, so don't act like it's just black people causing all the drama! (I read between lines).
Well i just have to say that people at a young age makes mistakes, not saying what these teens did was right. I know both sides and i love these teens like they where my family. Im sorry for the family who lost a great man. At the same time im sorry for the shooters family because the lost someone special to them to. People should stop talking down on each other and reach a hand out to help. you dont know peoples backgrounds and what they grow up with or without. when you dont have anyone to depend on and your on your own, you feel all you have left is your pride. Im not taking anyone side im just saying wake up the is 2008 lots of things are going on, its up to us to try to help our teens, not turn your heads and judge them. wrote by a true teen
