Nancy Pelosi, the thusfar spineless Speaker of the House in Washington DC , will be in a panel discussion and sign copies of her new book "Know Your Power" (She should have called it "Capitulation: Grabbing your ankles in front of GWB") at 7 pm on August 7th, at the downtown Borders.
Ann Arbor will be Speaker Pelosi's first stop on her book tour. If you want in, Borders will be giving out wristbands beginning at 8 am on the 7th. Borders says first come first served but there is NO guarantee you will meet Ms. Pelosi.
NO pictures will be allowed.

So far all she has done is provide sound-bites for the news a cleavage at state of union speeches.
Very, very ineffective speaker, imho.
I don't understand her, for all her bluster of changing the way Washington DC works and making the Bush Administration accountable she's done NONE of it.
War funding? She bends over for Bush
FISA-She bends over for Bush
Impeachment-She rules out
Holding those who refuse to testify in contempt of Congress (and she CAN have them jailed)--She does none of
She's been a pathetic waste. She's got the majority, she's got the American public behind her in every poll and STILL she capitulates.
She's one reason I'm done ever voting for the Democrats anymore, Stabenow, Dingell, And Levin would be the others. BIG TALKERS, no results on things that matter.
