Saint Mary's Airport on the Isles of Scilly, off the southwest tip of England was looking for an air traffic controller. The job description said "...controllers need to be able to keep a close eye on the changeable weather as their work "is not over-dependent upon very costly and sophisticated electronic equipment".
Applications were being made available in braille.
Hey, if you can pass the tests, and beat out some other sighted air traffic controllers, more power to ya.
