Still time to submit ideas for new Ypsi High mascot
That's right creative readers, there is STILL time to submit a name and or logo for the NEW Ypsilanti High School mascot. The PeeCee people are making the name Braves go away after only 73 years. Feel free to submit names and artwork to:

How about the Hedgehogs?
We will see if the board really gets that one or if it goes over their heads.

I think that little guy could be the mascot and helmet design.
I humbly suggest the Ypsi High School Blue Collars. It's what most of us like about Ypsilanti best.

How about the Liberators, in honor of the B-24 bomber? Probably a better name for Willow Run H.S., but ... well ... they seem already to have a name.
Liberators is cool, anything Willow Run airport/airfield would work but I wonder if Ypsi would want any WR connotation.
Hmm...[SAT question time]...EMU is to YHS as the flightless Emus are to...Kiwis?
Maybe not. But Kiwis have a...um, sharp beak! Yes! Very sharp!
