Get those funky mood rings and pet rocks out, WAR will be playing the Michigan Theater!

That's right, 70's funk supergroup WAR, will be performing May 6th at the Michigan Theater. They'll be performing all your 70's AM Gold faves such as 'Lowrider', 'The Cisco Kid' and 'Why Can't We Be Friends?'.

Tickets on sale this Saturday. 10 am at any Ticketmaster (sucks) locale.

Good looking out! I will going for sure, not a bad seat in the house. I remember watching movies there when I was a kid, they don't build movie theaters like that anymore. I remember 3 theaters we used to go to, The State, The Michigan, and Fifth Forum.

It will be a spectacle! What do the kids call this old school music nowadays? Proper?
