The city of Ann Arbor moves to close Studio 4

The city of Ann Arbor is getting all Popeye on the rogue nightclub Studio 4 as by reporting out five complaints to the state's Liquor Control Commission, the city is saying "That's allz I can stand I can't standz no more"

Know what? YCD agrees. Studio 4 is a disgrace. Have you ever walked by that place the following morning? Paper flyers, other paper items all swirling around the busses on 4th Street. It looks like the bar simply swept everything out to the street. Not to mention, shall we say OTHER signs on the sidewalk alcohol was consumed there.

As for what goes on inside?
*Minors drinking
*Fights
*An employee improperly using a weapon
*An employee pepper spraying a man outside the bar

Sure some of this goes on elsewhere, just not as much or as often. The city wouldn't lose anything by closing this dump down.

I miss Maudes.

I enjoyed Maude's as well. Loved the open air dining when they'd pull the doors back.

Lets continue to blame the club for the actions of it's drunk customers.

Why should people take responsibility for their own drunken shenanigans?
