Michigan football gameday

Michigan vs Florida in Lloyd's going away party.

Michigan will have to contend with the ultimate balanced QB in Florida Heisman winner Tim Tebow. 20+ TD passing and 20+ TD's running. The talent around Tebow is slightly greater than that of Appalachian State and Oregon. As they have ALL season, Michigan will need to run Senior Mike Hart for over 100 yards to control the clock, keep Tebow off the field and shorten the game. If Michigan is to win, they won't win pretty, they'll have to make it a Big Ten smashmouth classic.

It's New Years Day and the world is filled with hope.

Kickoff 1pm

And the question is FINALLY answered what would happen if Michigan got a lead and didn't sit on it. Congrats to Lloyd Carr on winning his final game. Michigan played full throttle all day and can hold their heads high for many reasons. They didn't let the coaching change break their concentration, they kept focus and they beat the holier than thou SEC representatives Florida. It's always nice to shut Florida fans up. Michigan has beaten Florida in two recent memory bowl games and Michigan State beat Florida in a bowl game and basketball championship game in 2000 so YCD thinks Florida's Gators would do well to steer clear of the state of Michigan in BIG games.

I am pleasantly tickled to be wrong in my initial assessment that Michigan would get their asses handed to them by Florida.

They played great, congratulations to them.

My only disappointment with the game was all the taunting and jawing that went on - before the game and during. I prefer a team with such "tradition" let their play speak for them. If I want to watch a gangfight or a jail break I will watch the University of Miami. Let's hope the next coach nixes that type of behaviour.

Receivers, Henne, and the defense were fantastic. It seems funny to be congratulating the defense after giving up 400+ yards, but they really seem to play better than that.

Fun game to watch.
