I was giving some old guy directions the other day, and I mentioned Michigan and River, and he got all bright-eyed and hollered out, "Oh! By the old State Police Post?" I initially figured that his dementia had gotten the best of him, however I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. (Although, I always remember the MSP Post being on Huron St, however I'm only 30.)

Now I travel Michigan Ave everyday. And the only thing that even remotely resembles a State Police post is an old yellow house looking building on Michigan at Park St kinda in front of the old Ypsi Jaycees bldg. I guess it kind of resembles the old Posts you see up north and such.
