Calendar says October, time for NIGHT TERRORS at Wiards

Johnny is a big fan of Wiards and also the NIGHT TERRORS spooky scarefest going on out there. Get this, according to the website, Wiards has 115 LIVE monsters. That's 20% more live monsters than anywhere else in Washtenaw County. Listen, this year they have ALIEN CAGED CLOWNS. Nothing scares like clowns, right Mr. Gacy?

Visit the website
for particulars and they also have an online coupon you can print and use before you go.

Well, the Wiard family was one of the first families to settle in this area, near the Willow Run plant originally. Ford bought the land from them and they relocated to their present location. So there's a long local history there, which I respect.

And it's cool to support local agriculture.

That said, I do find their Night Terrors prices pretty expensive:

Single Event : $14.00*
*Excludes The Asylum, Labyrinth and Alien Caged Clowns

Two Events : $21.00*
*Excludes The Asylum, Labyrinth, The Hayride and Alien Caged Clowns

Three Events : $26.00*
*Excludes Alien Caged Clowns

Four Events : $30.00*
*Excludes Alien Caged Clowns

Six Events : $35.00

The coupon has many restrictions: only for Sunday, and only for the six-event deal, and only $1 off. At any rate, these prices pretty much put a visit out of reach for the average family (I don't see any youth discounts, either).

Also, don't those poor clowns have any civil rights? I wonder if the ACLU knows about this. --ypsidixit

Dixit--Only one time per fall is my theory on spending money to be scared. I mean get scared and pick up an apple pie and cider on the way out? I love that stuff.

Yeah, it does come down on the pricey side but maybe you're onto something. Figuring they'll need lots of money when the caged clowns are freed and sue Wiards.

Very clever analysis on your part :)
