Reading the tea leaves: Expect the January Orange Taylor III retrial to be delayed

It looks like the retrial of Orange Taylor III, accused in the murder of Laura Dickinson in room 519 of Hill Hall in December of 2006, will be delayed past January. Taylor stood before Judge Archie Brown WITHOUT an attorney and requested a public defender last week at a pretrial hearing for his retrial scheduled to begin in January.

No doubt a new public defender will need time, LOTS Of time to get up to speed on this.

YCD wonders why the change now? One of two things most likely, either it's MONEY or hubris thinking the case is so slanted in Taylor's favor, following the first trial's roadmap EVEN a public defender could win it. Here's guessing it's the money angle.

Maybe his prior attorney got a stroke of conscience and decided he could not longer represent Taylor III! Oops! Almost forgot he's a defense attorney - he has no conscience - Taylor ran out of money and his lawyer is GOA!

Taylor III is guilty as charged and may he rot you know where!!

Well let us not forget it appears for all the world the only reason he got off this last time was from a professional jury nullifier.
