City of Ann Arbor to issue lawn ornament warning

The City of Ann Arbor will be issuing a "lawn ornament warning" starting Thursday in and around the neighborhoods surrounding Michigan Stadium. With Appalachian State and their fans coming to the Big House for Saturday's season opener, city officials are worried about homeowners with "CRITTER" type lawn ornaments that Appalachian State fans could mistake for vittles and shoot or club causing damage to property. The watch list will include lawn ornaments of:

*Deer
*Squirrels
*Gnomes
*Pandas
*Beavers
*Porcupines
*Wombats
*Opossums
*Snipes

Maybe it'd be best to just bring those tempting ceramics inside for the weekend

And can someone let them know that there is free parking in all Old Westside driveways?

Thanks!

That's right and thanks for pointing that out. FREE PARKING in any yard or driveway you choose. If this program is a success they'll try it going forward.

funny. Not impressed by U-M opponents. If the Big 10 wants to be taken seriously after last year's bowl debacle, they better start scheduling some "real teams".

You got that right anonymous, an awful lot of calories in the Michigan schedule this year with the cupcakes they play. But who isn't looking forward to the Washtenaw County death match between EMU and UM?
