Space, the final frontier.....or something

Johnny chanced across an amazing image of the planet Saturn from the Cassini spacecraft he's gonna share. This is an image from directly underneath Saturn looking straight up. Click the image for a much larger look.

So, Ypsilanti, are you ready for tomorrow night's Lunar Eclipse?

What's that? You didn't even know there was going to be one? That's right, tomorrow night, roughly 8pm the shadow of Earth will creep across the moon. To make things even more worthwhile standing out under clear skies and 7 degree temps is that the bright 'star' up and to the left of the moon is really Saturn.

Johnny will have his telescope out tomorrow night so if you see some fool bundled up peering into space, drop by and say hello.

This is a Lunar eclipse, where the earth shadows the moon, and a Solar eclipse is where the moon shadows out the sun. Do you know what the eclipse is called when the Sun goes between the Earth and the moon?

That's right, Johnny said LISTEN to Saturn, as in radio waves as heard from the Cassini probe. Saturn is talking, can you dig what it's laying down?
