By Huron Valley standards, it's a whopper (they always seem to miss us or skirt us) a possible 8 inches by late Sunday. Light snow is expected to begin around 4pm Saturday and intensify around 8pm and citizens, you should get to where you wanna be by midnight cause then it's on, Chester.
Wunderground:
Saturday Night
Light snow likely during the evening...then widespread snow. Accumulations 2 to 4 inches possible. Otherwise cloudy. Temperatures remaining nearly steady around 27. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph...turning to north. Chance of snow 90 percent.
Sunday
Snow with occasional snow heavy at times. Additional accumulations 2 to 4 inches possible...for a storm total of 4 to 8 inches. Otherwise brisk. Temperatures steady around 29 or slowly falling. North winds 15 to 25 mph...becoming northwest 10 to 20 mph late. Chance of snow 90 percent.
"It's comin right for us!"

Gotta LOVE that Michigan Weather... MAYBE all those that want snow for a White Christmas will get their wish...
It sure looks that way, good for skiiers and snowboarders who get some such loot around Christmas.
There USED to be this cult of us townies on very snowy nights who would wander down to Washtenaw and Perrin and watch that hill's magical force of gravity pull cars rolling down Washtenaw into the curb, and into street and bus stop signs. Not sure if anybody keeps this tradition alive. Saw some pretty good wipeouts there over the years.
NOW that sounds like a really good time...nothing like a GOOD wipe out...
If you're counting on what's been west of you heading your way this Ypsi transplant here in Chicagoland got about three inches of the fluffy stuff last night. Doesn't mean it won't gain a head of steam as it crosses over Lake Michigan, I guess. Having lived in Ypsi for almost 15 years myself I used to say there seemed to be a magic pocket around there - it peters out as it moves east or it goes north or south if it was moving west.
