Recently the Cadillac CTS was named Motor Trend's car of the year and yesterday GM gobbled up most of the nominations for North American Auto Show car and truck of the year. Among the GM stable of finalists are:
Car of the Year nominees:
Cadillac CTS
Chevy Malibu
Truck of the Year nominees:
Buick Enclave
Chevrolet Tahoe
Well done folks, it's good to see The General step up and build the quality vehicles while OTHERS (hint hint Toyota) slip a little.
Also the Mazda CX-9 is up for crossover of the year and Mazda as you may or may not know is a Ford Motor Company joint.
General Motors won North American Car and Truck of the Year honors for 2007 with the Saturn Aura and Chevrolet Silverado.

that new Malibu ROCKS, but the price is kinda high.
but I will say just ANOTHER GREAT Chevrolet product..
Agreed anonymous. GM really seems to be getting things together.
People kept saying they need to make cars people WANT and yet the Corvettes are a wait list, as is the Saturn Sky and the Solstice was too. I understand the Malibu is in short supply.
Sounds like The General is meeting that challenge currently
Chevrolet Corvette means only one thing.."American Muscle" at its best..
the reason WHY its always on the waitlist..
and the Sky and Solstice are are two MORE GENIOUS moves by GM to broaden their markets..BRAVO...
