From ESPN:
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan has hired West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez as its next football coach following a search that featured two other top prospects deciding to stay put.
A source close to Rodriguez told ESPN that the Michigan deal will average in the range of $2.5 million per year, which would be more than a half-million per year raise from his West Virginia salary.
West Virginia has now become the cradle of Michigan coaches as both Michigan basketball coach John Beilein and now Rodriguez were coaching the Mountaineers when lured away. You'll pardon them for giving Ann Arbor the stink eye.

I still want to know when Michigan is going to take the logical next step and hire West Virginia's Athletic Director.
LOL cmadler, good one!
I would like to see the Love for the game again from our coaches. It is about the money thiough isn't? We hope you folks get more from him than we did. Go "Buckeyes" year after year after year. When Rich Rod Retires it will be in Florida after he takes the Florida State when he puts the screws to you good folks. Take the bastard and keep him from "Almost Heaven". Oh, that's right, his kids grand parents live here!!! Drive safely Rod!!!
wvmarine--That's funny stuff. You're right about it all being money. Coaches will bold faced LIE to people and then, like that jackass Petrino who quit the Falcons one day and took the Arkansas job the next day, jump ship.
Speaking of Florida State, will they even field a team in their bowl game? They just suspended like 20 players.
