According to emails obtained by the AP, Rich Rod was demanding a "culture change" at WVU, and more control over the athletic department and more unfettered control over HIS football program.
Here's another red flag, the emails showed his AGENT, Mike Brown screeching Rodriguez should get more control over the money raised through a booster organization.
More control over the athletic department and more control over a booster club bank account? I mean he'd never just up and leave so what's the harm? What could possibly go wrong with these new powers?
I'm sure the Michigan Athletic Department is giving Rich the keys to everything he demands. Booster money the coach has access to, changes in the way Michigan does business, changes in AD personnel, and no oversight, WHO CARES about accountability, Michigan's running the spread offense!

It was reported weeks ago that the W.Va athletic department nixed nearly every little thing he asked for - raises for his coaches, etc. His requests were so minimal that he was pissed they were denied.
This appears to be new spin on the same report.
UM athletics, boosters, alumni, etc., weren't lily-white even with Carr, and they won't be with RR either.
It just SOUNDS like this guy has that way about him and that's not a good thing nor do I think the average U-M fan is gonna like the new way things are run.
Will it be run wrong? We'll see, we're still open to seeing how Rich handles things but it's my guess the first loss to Illinois or MSU is gonna bring the jackals howling holding up these types of news stories.
When Lloyd lost to an inferior opponent it was he didn't understand the game fans would say, with RR it'll be he's to corrupt and doesn't have quality MICHIGAN GUYS.
