Thought #4-5:40 pm Johnny begins pricing Zetterberg sweaters WITH the Stanley Cup patch in earnest. Could it be that some of his government stimulus check will stimulate the Canadian economy?
Thought #5-Does anybody think this excessive coverage of all things Wings on the local news is bothersome? Normally we'd think that would be the case but after all this area has been through lately, let's be narcissists for an evening and be proud of ourselves.

Trixie COULD NOT concentrate at work today. Dumbass Pens fan got in my face first thing this morning and I shut him down informing his dumb ass there IS NO WAY the Pens can win two in JLA. NO WAY IN HELL. This guy is the equivalent of the loofah-loving hippie teacher from Beavis & Butthead - says he USED to like the Wings (he went to Albion) but apparently he also started drinking the Kool-Aid around the time of the 2005 draft. I have a Red Wings pencil on my desk that I used all day today and waved in front of dumb ass when I was talking to him. One withering look and he skulked to his desk and away from me. Coolest young chickie who's desk is near mine is from Lansing and she's as excited as I am.

As to oversaturation of all things Red Wings on the news - HELL NO. Detroit was named the number one shittiest city to live in and the mayor is a CRIMINAL. Red Wings are a BRIGHT SHINING SPOT in that city and for my beloved home state and all proud Michiganders should dig it.
