Ypsilanti Township fireworks are ON for tonight

Road closures pertaining to the Ypsilanti Township fireworks show

The Ann Arbor News has all the infotainment you'll need on this HERE.

Johnny took one look at it and went into troll mode----too long, didn't read, boring.

If you're going to the big show, that info will be most helpful...

Fireworks to return over Ford Lake? Sounds like it

With a $20,000 donation from Lake Shore Apartments, all that stands between a July 2nd fireworks show over Ford Lake in Ypsilanti Township is the township board's approval. That meeting is scheduled to be held today. The Township plans to hire on enough State Police and Washtenaw County Sheriff deputies to cover crowd control.

When the fireworks over Ford Lake were dropped 4 years ago, it had become the second biggest fireworks show in Michigan, with upwards of 100,000 people attending.

Lookie here, fun for the whole family, boys AND girls

Because EVERYONE enjoys fireworks. Screw the law on fireworks in Michigan. Open your windows near July 4th and just listen how well it works. Just pass a "your fault" law that says any fireworks accidents are YOUR fault, you can't sue. We need to stop being such wussies about fireworks in Michigan.

Look here, an entire family playing together, having fun, and living the phrase 'you only live once'.

Frog Island, 11pm July 4th, let's do this....
